Fathimath Shafneez

Managing Partner / Attorney-at-Law

Fathimath Shafneez read law at Bangalore University and completed her Master of Laws in Business Law from the International Islamic University of Malaysia. She is well-versed in the legal framework of aviation and business laws of Maldives and is passionate about raising legal awareness and conducting legal research.

Shafneez has previously worked at the Attorney General’s Office of the Maldives and notable law firms in the Maldives. She is currently a board member of the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority and is a member of the Result Management Committee of the South Asian Regional Anti-Doping Organization. She was also a board member of the Capital Market Development Authority of Maldives from June 2019 to December 2022.

Fathimath Reeath Shameez

Fathmath Reeath Shameez completed her Bachelor of Laws with honors from the University of East London. She was recognized as a top achiever in the Maldives Bar Examination held in October 2024 and has completed her licensing training.

Prior to joining the firm, Reeath gained two years of valuable experience as a Legal Advisor at the Citizens Advice Bureau in England, where she provided advice and guidance on various legal matters, including housing law, employment law, and immigration law.

Reeath currently assists with civil and corporate law assignments and conducting legal research.

Ali Shuhail Mohamed

Attorney-at-Law

Ali Shuhail Mohamed read law through a combined degree of LLB and Islamic Shariah from Al-Azhar University, Egypt. He also holds an LLM in Islamic Law from SOAS University of London.

Shuhail is well-versed in legislative and regulation drafting. He has ample experience in civil litigation through his years of litigation at all court levels. He is passionate about civil litigating in all areas of law in addition to legal and legislative drafting.

He primarily works at the Attorney General’s Office as a Senior State Counsel.

Shuhail works at the firm as an external counsel for private clients. His practice areas include:

Aminath Sheereen

Attorney-at-Law

Aminath Sheereen read law at the College of Islamic Studies and completed her Masters of Laws in International Financial Law from the University of Sussex. She is well-versed in legislative and regulation drafting.

She currently works as a State Counsel at the Attorney General’s Office of Maldives where she primarily works on legislative drafting.

Sheereen works at the firm as an external counsel for private clients. Her practice areas include;

Mohamed Jaushan Shareef

Senior Consultant

Mr. Mohamed Jaushan Shareef holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Monash University and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London. He further advanced his expertise with a Master of Laws in Public International Law from the University of London and a Master’s degree in International Sports Law from the University of Lleida.

He currently serves as a Consultant in the Member Associations Division of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), specializing in the Strategic Planning and Governance Subdivision.

Mr. Shareef is also an appointed panelist on the Central Results Management Panel for Asia and Oceania under the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). Additionally, he is an active member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Legal Committee, contributing to legal and governance matters across the region.

Committed to the advancement of sports law, he provides pro bono legal consultancy to the National Sports Council, the Commissioner of Sports, the Maldives Olympic Committee, and various NSAs focusing on sports-related legal issues and arbitration.
